Updates and ideas
We had an insightful meeting on OneQuantum Africa weekly meetings with Oluwaniyi Ibituyi last week. Learned so much about his personal journey, contributions to quantum education in high schools in Nigeria, and his vision for quantum in Africa.
In his own words, "Quantum education should be taken to lower levels of the education system as far as possible to build a strong foundation for quantum in the continent." Thanks, Oluwaniyi for the inspiration.
Building on that conversation, this week we host Mourad Telmini - Professor of Physics at the University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia).
He is going to talk about teaching Quantum Information and Quantum Computing in African universities. In his presentation he will also touch on the global picture of quantum tech and propose a possible roadmap for Africa.
Africa's quantum opportunity strongly depends on building a solid foundation in education and I encourage you to attend and learn more.
Invite your quantum tech colleagues from the continent and RSVP here
Looking forward to your usual support.
