The third IBM Quantum Challenge starts this November, from the 8th through the 29th in the US / the 9th through the 30th in Japan.
The global community of quantum computing enthusiasts are welcome to participate. But seats are limited to 2,000 so make sure to sign up early.
Maria Schuld (Xanadu and UKZN) will be speaking at Quantum Techniques in Machine Learning (QTML 2020). You can register here to join the event.
Yaseera Ismail will feature on a fireside chat on quantum technology and cryptography at the The Security Demo Conference (Register for free).
Nominations for The Olusegun Obasanjo Prize for Scientific Discovery and/or Technological Innovation are now open. The award is intended to reward and honor African scientists who have made outstanding contributions in scientific discovery or technological innovation. Learn more here.
Here is another funding call that focuses on challenges related to key targets of the Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG2) to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture (there should be room for squeezing in quantum ideas somewhere). Details here.
