While this is our first conference in Africa, our global sister chapters have organized events with over 1,200 attendees, sponsored by the likes of IBM, Honeywell, Google, Amazon and attracting speakers from government, investing, tech, and corporate - CLICK HERE TO VIEW the KPIs from one of the most recent events.
The Quantum in Africa Summit generally includes learning sessions, keynotes, speaker sessions on topical issues in quantum relevant to Africa, panels of experts to discuss what it takes to move quantum forward in the continent, a career fair for Africans interested in a career in quantum, and one-on-one networking sessions to foster close connections.
We urge everyone interested in the career fair to submit their CV for review by prospective employers to brooke@onequantum.org

On OneQuantum Africa this week we are pleased to host Amir Karamlou, Researcher at the Engineering Quantum Systems (EQuS) Group at MIT.
Amir graduated from MIT with a B.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and an M.Eng in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 2018. His research motivation is to use quantum mechanics to gain an advantage over current technology and protocols. As an undergraduate, he worked with Dirk Englund on control and high fidelity readout of NV centers in diamond.
He will talk briefly about quantum research at MIT and his work in quantum simulation using superconducting quantum processors.
Register to join us here at 1500hrs SAST on April 7
