On OneQuantum Africa this week we are pleased to host Lesedi Modise, an associate in the investment team at Sango Capital - a Johannesburg-based asset manager, with over US$400m in assets under management in fund and direct investments across the African continent. Lesedi was previously a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in London, where she spent 6 years executing M&A transactions in the Consumer, Healthcare, and Real Estate sectors across EMEA geographies.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Lesedi was a Junior Transactor in the Corporate Finance Division of Rand Merchant Bank in Johannesburg, focusing on M&A transactions across African geographies outside of South Africa. Lesedi began her career as M&A Analyst in the Oil & Gas team of Morgan Stanley in London.
She holds an MSc. International Finance with Highest Honours from HEC Paris and holds a BA. Business Science Economics from the University of Cape Town.
She will lead a discussion on "Considerations in taking quantum ideas from concept to market in Africa."
