Quantum News
We are coming up with the agenda for the next meeting and would like to have your input. Below I outline some of the main discussion points:
Weekly meeting - weekly open office hour mainly focused on networking as a group (virtual lobby before the talk) and one-on-one among our members (a virtual cocktail hour after the talk)
One on one matchmaking - in general, our goal is to facilitate more matchmaking amongst our members, at the weekly open office hour (come and go as you please) but also with a more personal touch. For that, reach out to Denise, Andre, or I and we will discuss
Targeted support & resources - our chapters have different needs and we want to focus on providing more individual support targeted to your needs.
Video podcast - Denise, Tommaso, and Andre run Weekly Quantum World Detangled now in Season 2 and in the future would want to invite you as our next guest…we reach ~15K/month across our social media channels
Free quantum data - Our company Interference Advisors has a free quantum data portal at www.qisdata.com. Check it out and if there is a chart or insight that you'd like to use in your presentations or research, please do so. If there is a chart that you'd like but don't see, please let us know and we will get it to you for free.
Discussion on what other things you would like to see and suggestions on how to make our chapter work better for everyone.
To submit your input and help shape this chapter, please fill out ⚠️ this 3 questions survey ⚠️ - it takes 2 min and that will help us offer you the best support.

Most STEM graduates in (

) Africa are ill-prepared to adapt and exploit opportunities that exist in the labor market says AfDB report. The time to act is now: A letter to African leaders and all of us. Here is a quote that should energize all of us to act, “The challenge for Africa is no less than the restoration of its intellectual freedom and a capacity to create — without which no sovereignty is conceivable. It is to… adapt science, technology, and research to our context…it is essential to remember that Africa has sufficient materials and human resources to build a shared prosperity on an egalitarian basis and in respect of the dignity of each and everyone.”
Ethiopia just celebrated New Year and it’s 2013. Now you can practically travel 7 years back in time.
